Registration categories

The following categories for participants apply:

Member: A member of one of FENS member societies or the societies affiliated with FENS (see the list of FENS member societies). Note that your membership will be checked with FENS.
Non-member: A participant from academic or non-profit organisations.
Student: A pre-doctoral student. Postdoctoral fellows do not qualify for the student rate.
Pre-doctoral students registering online, must upload student ID with valid dates. Upon on-site registration such a proof should be presented as well.

Note: The proof of student status is unrelated to the request for a travel grant. For more information about FENS, IBRO-PERC and GNS travel grants, please refer to the travel grants page.

Accompanying person: A spouse, friend or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a science related occupation or field.

Registration for Researchers includes:

  • Admission to all scientific lectures
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception
  • Access to the Exhibition
  • Congress material (delegate bag, final programme, proceedings etc.)
  • Certificate of attendance

Registration for Students includes:

  • Admission to all scientific lectures
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception
  • Access to the Exhibition
  • Congress programme and proceedings

Registration for Accompanying persons* includes:

  • Admission to the Welcome Reception
  • Belgrade tour

*Please note that accompanying persons do not have access to the scientific sessions and the exhibition.

Lost badges will be replaced for registered participants presenting an ID, at a replacement fee of €15.​

PAYMENT METHOD

Payments shall be made in Euro (no other currencies shall be accepted).

  • CREDIT CARDS and DEBIT CARDS (The online payment option will be available after the registration)

We use PayPal Merchant Services as our payment processor. They accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal account payments. Upon completion the registration form you wll be redirected to the online payment page where you will need to provide your PayPay account details. You also have the option of creating a PayPal account at the time of payment. PayPal Merchant Services transactions are protected using modern encrypted SSL security measures. Allows paying by credit cards and debit cards, too. This is the recommended means of payment.

  • BANK TRANSFER (Due to pay until deadline given in the Pro/forma Invoice)

All payments must be made in Euros (€), except for residents of Serbia who should pay in local currency (RSD). Please note that payments by bank transfer will only be accepted by June 28, 2019. After this date only payments by credit cards will be accepted by using the Online Payment System. All charges and fees associated with the bank transfer are to be covered by the payee. Please note that your registration will be valid only on receipt of your payment and that any unpaid bank charges will be collected on site. After you have completed your online registration you will receive a confirmation of registration / invoice with all details for bank transfer by e-mail.

Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming the registration will be sent after receipt of the required fees. Outstanding payments will be collected on-site and charged the on-site rate. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the meeting account on time.

Please note that cash only is accepted on-site and credit card payment is not possible. Please bring as precise amount of cash with you as possible (according to your invoice total sum) to speed up the payment handling on-site.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Secretariat must be notified in writing by e-mail (nebojsa@congrexpo.co.rs) or fax (+381-11-2644312). Telephone cancellation will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the event. Please note that if you are the 1st author of an abstract and cancel your registration, your abstract will not be included in the scientific programme.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

Cancelation Recieved Refund
before and on April 1 2019: Full refund of the registration fee less 15 € handling fee
from April 2 to May 1, 2019: 50% of the registration fee
after May 2, 2019: no refund will be made.

All refunds will be processed within 30 days of written request if applicable.

VISAS

Some participants may require visa in order to enter Serbia. Please consult with the Serbian Embassy or Consulate for specific details relating to visas. More details at link.

LETTER OF INVITATION

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation should complete the registration. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the scientific programme.
